Product Details
The Maztech X4 Rail-Mounted Remote controls an X4 device from any preferred tactical position. The X4 Rail-Mounted Remote plugs in to the Input/Output (I/O) Accessory Port on either the X4-FCS™ or the X4-LRF™. The rugged ODU® breakaway I/O connector ensures a robust connection during firing. The buttons have tactile feedback when clicked, and each button supports single-click, double-click and long-click functions.
When connected to the X4-FCS, use the 3-button keypad on the X4 Rail-Mounted Remote to perform the same functions as the control knob and push-button on the X4-FCS. The triangle and circle buttons on the remote simulate turning the X4-FCS knob forward and backward, while the square button on the remote simulates the X4-FCS button-press.
When connected to the X4-LRF, use the 3-button keypad on the X4 Rail-Mounted Remote to perform the same functions as the 3 buttons on the X4-LRF. The triangle button maps to the (L)ase button, the square button maps to the (M)enu button, and the circle button maps to the (R)ange button.
When your X4-FCS is connected to your X4-LRF via the X4 FCS-to-LRF Cable, you can still plug in your X4 Rail-Mounted Remote into the I/O Accessory Port on your X4-FCS. In this case, your X4 Rail-Mounted Remote will control the X4-LRF (L)ase and (R)ange functions.
The X4 Rail-Mounted Remote is designed for a Picatinny rail. Easily tighten to your weapon rail with a rail bolt that supports a T15 Torx tool (included) or a flathead screwdriver. The 8ʺ cable length is designed to be long enough to place the remote on typical Picatinny rail locations, but short enough to minimize snag hazards.
No batteries are required. The X4 Rail-Mounted Remote is fabricated from durable polymers that function from -40° F to 140° F and withstand water immersion down to a depth of three (3) feet for 30 minutes.
Made in the USA.
